PRE-TREATMENT GUIDELINES

  1. Discontinue Active Ingredients: Avoid using products containing retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or other strong actives for 5-7 days before treatment to prevent irritation.

  2. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water leading up to your treatment to ensure your skin is well-hydrated.

  3. Sun Protection: Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or self-tanning products for 2 weeks before the treatment. Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher daily.

  4. Waxing & Exfoliation: Refrain from waxing, exfoliating, or using harsh scrubs on the treatment area for at least one week prior.

POST-TREATMENT AFTERCARE

  1. Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild, non-irritating cleanser for the first few days. Avoid scrubbing or using exfoliating tools on your skin.

  2. Avoid Active Ingredients: For 5-7 days post-treatment, avoid retinoids, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and other chemical exfoliants that may cause irritation.

  3. Moisturize: Keep your skin well-hydrated with a gentle, soothing moisturizer to support recovery and maintain hydration.

  4. Sun Protection: Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher daily for at least two weeks after the treatment to prevent UV damage.

  5. No Makeup (if sensitive): If your skin feels sensitive, avoid makeup for the first 24 hours. Otherwise, light makeup can be applied after the treatment.

WHAT TO AVOID

  • Direct Sun Exposure: Avoid prolonged sun exposure and tanning beds for at least two weeks after treatment to prevent damage or hyperpigmentation.
