TREATMENT PROCESS

During the Tixel treatment, a skin specialist will pass the device gently over the targeted areas. The titanium tip transfers heat to the skin in a controlled manner, creating microchannels that encourage collagen production and skin renewal. You may feel a mild warming sensation or slight discomfort, but the procedure is generally well-tolerated. After the treatment, you may notice redness and slight swelling, which typically subsides within a few hours to a few days.

FREQUENCY OF TREATMENT

For best results, treatments are recommended every 1.5-2 months. The number of sessions can be customized to individual needs, and maintenance treatments help sustain results over time

DOWNTIME

Tixel offers minimal downtime. While redness and swelling may last for a few hours to a couple of days, most people can return to normal activities within 24-48 hours.

PRE-TREATMENT GUIDELINES

  3. Arrive Makeup-Free: Ensure your skin is clean and free from makeup on the day of your treatment.

POST-TREATMENT AFTERCARE

  1. Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from the sun for at least two weeks after the procedure. Wear broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30+ daily and consider protective clothing and a hat when outdoors.

  2. Moisturize Regularly: Keep the skin hydrated with a gentle, non-comedogenic moisturizer to promote healing.

  3. Avoid Harsh Skincare Products: Refrain from using exfoliants, retinoids, and acids for at least one week post-treatment to avoid irritation.

  4. Do Not Pick or Scratch: If scabs or crusts form, allow them to heal naturally to avoid scarring or infection.

  5. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from within, aiding the healing process.

  6. Avoid Excessive Heat: Steer clear of saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, and other heat sources for at least one week post-treatment to avoid inflammation.
